FRONTSIDE JUNO AWARDS TRAVEL DIARY: Geoff and Justin depart LA and arrive back in Vancouver in time to get one night of sleep prior to the rest of Canada descending on their city for the Juno Awards. The Midway State are up for two awards, and between their performances and media it's was an incredibly busy weekend. At least limos and cocktails factored into the equation...

FRONTSIDE - LA TRAVEL DIARY: Unwilling to let over two weeks on the road get the better of them, Geoff and Justin went straight from SXSW on to LA for another three days. Geoff's incessant shopping has forced him to purchase another suitcase due to airline weight restrictions on baggage. Who knew it was so easy to accumulate 50 pounds of clothes?

FRONTSIDE SXSW TRAVEL DIARY: South By Southwest can seem like a zoo at the best of times. With seven Frontside artists playing multiple showcases our crew was run ragged by the end of the festival. FRONTSIDE NEW YORK TRAVEL DIARY: With a couple of days between CMW and SXSW Geoff and Gary retreated to New York for the PR launch of Motley Crue's 'Cruefest 2'. A day of meetings and some time spent working out of our New York office led to the main event with Motley headlining at Madison Square Garden. This hardly qualifies as "resting up" for SXSW...

Stealing a phrase from our friends at the NCAA, Frontside braces every year for our own version of March Madness. Each March our team spends the better part of the month traveling to various conferences and festivals with a few side trips in between. It's tough to keep up with work so we do our best to stay afloat by cracking open our Macbook's in taxi cabs, in radio station lobbies, during dinner.... you get the drift. This year we brought along our FlipCam to give you some insight into what things look like when you mix Tequila Shots and 8am meetings for three weeks straight. The gauntlet has been thrown down.

A challenge has been put before me in response to my spending a week in Austin, Texas without spending a penny on food before, during or after the South By Southwest Music Festival.

Frontside Group's Gary McDonald says his company will donate $250 to the charity of my choice if I can do the same thing again next year, but on a vegetarian diet.

Texans love their meat, and I certainly don't mind it either, so this challenge will definitely be more difficult. But I'm seriously considering it.

If I do, and you're at SXSW next year and don't know me or recognize me by the above photo, just listen closely for people grumbling something along the lines of "That asshole took all of the potato salad," and I'll probably be standing close by with a full plate.
